Job summary

Job description

Position Overview

The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for building scalable analytics solutions, developing performance metrics, and supporting continuous improvement of reporting systems, tools, and data pipelines to ensure accurate and sustainable insights across the global supply chain. Responsibilities include driving standardized, efficient, and digitally enabled logistics processes, improving data quality, developing BI dashboards, and adoption across supply chain.

Essential Functions
  • Document, maintain, and continuously improve End‑to‑End (E2E) Planning processes.
  • Develop, update, and maintain Supply Planning related SOPs.
  • Initiate process improvements around aging, slow‑moving, and short shelf‑life inventory to reduce overall waste.
  • Collaborate with Supply Planners to reduce errors, duplications, and manual workarounds.
  • Collaborate with business partners to determine ABC classification of all items and provide safety stock recommendations to Supply Planners.
  • Monitor and improve data accuracy metrics impacting service and cost.
  • Automate manual reports and improve self‑service reporting capabilities.
  • Develop standardized reporting templates for supply chain and leadership teams.
  • Ensure dashboards are user‑friendly, accurate, and aligned with business requirements.
  • Lead smaller initiatives or workstreams focused on process improvement and system enhancements.
  • Provide functional support for Supply Chain system (M3).
  • Act as first‑level support for business users, including incident resolution, root‑cause analysis, and escalation to IT.
  • Support system enhancements, testing (UAT), and deployment (EDI implementations, new Infor functionality).
  • Drive effective utilization of digital tools supporting planning execution and visibility.
  • Develop exception‑based reporting to support planners.
  • Design, build, and enhance BI solutions using tools such as Power BI or Excel‑based models.
  • Provide data insights to support strategic and operational planning.
  • Translate complex data into actionable insights for both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Identify and communicate changes in demand due to promotions, seasonality, and phasing items to product management group.
  • Interact as necessary with other departments (Transportation, Warehouse Ops, Finance, Product Management) to provide supply information relevant to their respective areas.
  • Perform root‑cause analysis and develop corrective action plans.
  • Assess technology requirements needed to support current or proposed business.
  • Review historical sales trends, sales budgets, and research demand drivers; prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.
  • Provide input to the organization in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase‑outs.
  • Other duties assigned as needed.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, supply chain, logistics, or engineering.
  • 5–8+ years of experience within the supply chain industry.
  • Ideal candidate will have a procurement/ logistics background in the food industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Business Intelligence and analytics, including development of dashboards and reports using Power BI or similar tools.
  • Good understanding of data mining and analysis tools (SQL, Python).
  • Excellent problem‑solving ability with demonstrated experience managing with facts, not emotion.
  • Excellent communication skills including listening, written, oral and group presentation.
  • Ability to communicate with different levels of the organization.
  • Critical thinker and problem solver with analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast‑paced, fluid work environment.

Salary Range: $68,000 – $78,000 annually plus bonus.

Relocation: Our company will be relocating to a new corporate headquarters in Madison, NJ in Q1 of 2027. Candidates should be comfortable with this upcoming change in location.
