Supply Chain Analyst

The Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for replenishment efforts in support of the BevMo supply chain. This role will directly support replenishment for one or more of the BevMo/Gopuff departments and partner with internal merchandising, operations, etc., and external partners such as vendors and distributors to support business and assortment strategies. It will be imperative that the person demonstrate problem‑solving and analytical skills necessary to thrive in a fast paced and entrepreneurial environment. This is a hybrid position, reporting to the Concord, CA office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday during business hours.

Compensation

• Gopuff pays employees based on market pricing and pay may vary depending on location. Salary range below reflects what we’d reasonably expect to pay candidates. Starting pay will be determined based on job‑related skills, experience, qualifications, interview performance, and market conditions.
• This role is eligible for a discretionary annual cash bonus and participation in Gopuff’s equity incentive plan.
• Base Salary Range: $73,500

Responsibilities

• Establish a deep understanding of business, internal processes, and overall supply chain.
• For a particular portion of the business, own the SKU replenishment purchasing of inventory directly from suppliers to support all BevMo stores and/or regional stores.
• Analyze sales, inventory, instock, damage & expiration, turn and vendor fill rate trends and create weekly item plans to drive the business.
• Support inventory management strategies contingent with unique territory requirements as it pertains to volume, size and business strategy.
• Research and resolve inventory discrepancies with internal and external partners and communicate issues related to inventory and product flow.
• Review and determine quantities to purchase for new, allocated and continuing SKUs.
• Participate as an integral partner with planning, merchandising, logistics and operations.
• Generate and analyze inventory management and exception reports.
• Act as a point of contact for inventory related inquiries from internal partners.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to ensure inventory is appropriately represented throughout the chain.
• Identify potential inventory liabilities and take appropriate actions to bring quantity to desired level to optimize inventory turn goals.
• Make recommendations to maximize profitability and productivity and communicate inventory concerns through the proper communication vehicles.
• Support supervisor on warehouse buying decisions to support import, QD, and replenishment purchases.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, Supply Chain/Logistics or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2‑4+ years of Merchandise Planning, Inventory Planning, Supply Chain, or Allocations experience.
• Must have strong computer skills – proficiency with excel is required.
• Alcohol Beverage experience is a plus.
• Capable of taking initiative, ownership and accountability for the business.
• Ability to react quickly with a strong sense of urgency.
• Must be extremely detail oriented and organized.
• Must have effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
