Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking an Entry-Level Supply Chain Analyst in the Columbus, OH area to support sourcing and procurement initiatives for a major manufacturing operation. You will gain hands-on experience in supplier management, market analysis, pricing strategies, cost improvement, and supply chain planning.

You will work with seasoned procurement professionals to influence supplier performance and cost savings while supporting cross-functional teams and new product launches.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, or related field.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Internship experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, Manufacturing, Finance, or Purchasing.
• Experience with supplier interaction or negotiations.
• Experience with ERP systems or purchasing software.

Responsibilities

• Analyze supplier pricing, quotations, and purchasing data.
• Support sourcing and supplier selection activities.
• Research industry trends, market conditions, and commodity pricing.
• Develop and maintain vendor relationships.
• Assist with cost reduction and savings initiatives.
• Coordinate with engineering, finance, production, and supply chain teams.
• Create and manage reports using Excel.
• Maintain purchasing and supplier information systems.
• Participate in supplier meetings and negotiations.
• Support new product and model launches through procurement activities.

About the Role

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $31.25/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
