Job summary

ManpowerGroup’s client is seeking a Supply Assurance Buyer in Richmond, CA to support manufacturing operations. You will place purchase orders, manage supplier relations, monitor inventory, and proactively resolve supply issues using SAP MRP and Microsoft Office tools.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in a related field and 1–2 years in purchasing or production planning, with strong communication and negotiation skills to ensure supply chain reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in purchasing or production planning.
• Experience with expediting and issuing purchase orders.
• Proficiency in SAP MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerBI, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.

Our client, a leading organization in manufacturing support, is seeking a Supply Assurance Buyer to join their team. As a Supply Assurance Buyer, you will be part of the GSC LSG Operations Department supporting critical supply chain functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, proactive communication, and a problem-solving mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Supply Assurance Buyer

Location: Richmond, CA

Pay Range: $37-40

Shift: Monday-Friday, day shift 8-5pm
