Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a Supplier Security & Assurance professional to lead end-to-end supplier security assessments, document risks, and drive remediation with vendors and business owners. You will manage ongoing monitoring, improve processes, and tune the Claude-powered platform to support risk decisions.

The role combines governance, risk, and security engineering in a dynamic AI safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

Experience running supplier security assessments end to end at a technology company.
Working knowledge of risk fundamentals (inherent and residual risk) and how to apply them with incomplete evidence.
Ability to assess a vendor across security domains and decide when to escalate.
Track record of driving risk treatment to closure through cross-team influence.
Experience building or tuning an LLM-backed workflow in risk/compliance contexts.
Experience building or operating issue management workflows.

Responsibilities

Run supplier security assessments end to end: review evidence, evaluate controls, determine residual risk; route for deeper assessment when needed.
Operate supplier issue management: document findings with owner and due date; drive remediation with vendor and business owner.
Run continuous monitoring after approval: trigger reassessments, investigate configuration and drift signals.
Improve the program: identify gaps, surface requirements, and drive roadmap items.
Tune and maintain the Claude-powered assessment platform: prompt design and QA.
Contribute to KPI and KRI reporting on coverage, cycle time, residual risk, open issues, and reassessments.
