Job summary

Pall Corporation, a Danaher company, seeks a Supplier Relationship Manager to own supplier relationships for plastics commodities and support the Senior Plastics Commodity Manager. This onsite role is located in Timonium, MD, with remote options if not local, and involves collaborating across multiple functions to improve delivery and performance.

You will work on contract administration, supplier qualifications, and strategic sourcing while traveling up to 20% domestically or internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in procurement, supply chain, or engineering required or 5+ years of SRM experience without a degree.
• 3–5 years focused on Plastics commodities in a global manufacturing company.
• Proven contract negotiation, cost reduction and supplier performance improvements.

Responsibilities

• Own supplier relationships for assigned commodity groups and manage contracts.
• Collaborate with Materials Team to achieve on-time delivery and performance goals.
• Lead strategic sourcing activities and ensure alignment with DMS principles.
• Coordinate with Ops, R&D, Engineering, Quality, Sales and Product Management.

Role Overview

This Individual will serve as the Supplier Relationship Manager (SRM) supporting all Pall Global production sites. This individual will own the supplier relationships for the assigned supplier group within the assigned commodity categories under the leadership of the Senior Plastics Commodity Manager. This individual will support the Senior Plastics Commodity Manager with the overall material and commodity strategy formulation and execution. This position is part of the Global Integrated Supply Chain Organization and will be located onsite in Timonium, MD, Deland, FL, or remote if not local.

Key Responsibilities

• Supplier Relationship Management (40%): attend supplier meetings/Visits, SBR’s, collaborate with the Materials Team, LTA’s/MSA’s negotiate and manage contract administration, improve Supplier OTD, and support site Inventory Target management.
• Project Management (30%): Project funnel ideation and execution, own Strategic Sourcing visual management (DVM), partner with Supplier Quality to execute supplier qualifications (FAIR, PPAP, etc.), optimize Supply Chain design to maximize adherence to DMS principles and IMAG Customer (Internal & External)
• Relationship Management (15%): collaborate with Ops, R&D, Engineering, Quality, Sales, and Product Management, support external customers as necessary, and drive OTD
• Location Strategy Execution (15%): Delivery of the Commodity Strategies

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Engineering, with 3+ years’ experience in Sourcing, Purchasing, or Supplier Relationship Management OR no degree with 5+ years of experience in Sourcing, Purchasing, or Supplier Relationship Management.
• 3-5 years demonstrated focus on Plastics commodities in a global manufacturing company.
• Proven track record of negotiating contracts, reducing costs, and improving supplier performance.
• Experience utilizing electronic sourcing tools (eRFQ, eBid, eAuction, etc.).
• Demonstrated experience with ERP system; Oracle/SAP preferred.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: Ability to travel up to 20% both domestically & internationally.

• Ability to adapt, think critically, and problem-solve under pressure.
• Continuous improvement in manufacturing.

Compensation & Benefits

The salary range for this role is $100,000 - 120,000 range annually. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay. We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
