Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Quality Inspector to support a startup manufacturing operation at our Prince George, VA site, primarily on the second shift. You will perform incoming inspections, verify compliance with drawings and quality plans, and document results to help ensure material quality for heavy, large-form-factor equipment.

You will review supplier documentation, support root cause investigations, and collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain teams to maintain

Qualifications

• Understanding blueprints and GD&T is required.
• Experience with incoming inspection and material acceptance.
• Knowledge of MRB and nonconforming material control.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems.
• Ability to work with SAP QM in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming inspections of raw materials and components.
• Inspect electrical and electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Verify conformance to drawings, specs, and inspection plans.
• Review CoCs, test reports, and traceability records.
• Use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and metrology tools.
• Create and maintain inspection lots in SAP QM.
• Record results and disposition materials per procedures.
• Identify, document, and quarantine nonconforming materials.
• Support corrective actions and root-cause investigations.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain.
