Job summary

Jabil in Florence, KY is seeking a Quality Inspector Technician to serve as a technical focal point for determining inspection processes and guiding Receiving Inspection at the site level. The technician will assign inspection plans and document supplier part issues for CAPA closure with suppliers.

Responsibilities include ensuring timely resolution of production-critical supplier issues, guiding Inspection Plans and Methods, and monitoring IQC plans to improve quality on the production floor.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Quality.
• Associate's Degree preferred; high school diploma acceptable with equivalent experience.
• Basic PC skills required; SAP Receiving Inspection knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as focal point for commodity quality issues related to purchased components.
• Ensure production-critical supplier issues are resolved in a timely manner.
• Provide guidance on Inspection Plans and Inspection Methods to Receiving Inspection team.
• Determine IQC inspection plans and levels and adjust based on performance.
• Monitor and drive PPM with the supplier base and support dock-to-stock certification.
• Answer Jira questions from customers within established time targets.
• Proactively communicate information or issues impacting production.
• Adhere to safety, health, and security procedures.
