Job summary

Jabil seeks a Quality Inspector for our Prince George, VA facility on a second shift to lead incoming material inspections for a startup manufacturing project.

You'll verify components against engineering drawings, review CoCs and test reports, and maintain records in SAP QM, ensuring high product quality and compliance with safety standards. Experience with large form-factor equipment is highly valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical cert preferred.
• Experience in Quality Inspection or supplier quality in manufacturing.
• Experience with SAP QM/MM and metrology tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming inspections of raw materials and supplier assemblies.
• Inspect electrical and electro-mechanical components and wiring harnesses.
• Verify conformance to drawings, specs, and inspection plans.
• Review CoCs, test/inspection reports, and traceability docs.
• Use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and metrology tools.
• Create and maintain incoming inspection lots in SAP QM.
• Record results and disposition materials per procedures.
• Identify and quarantine nonconforming materials.
• Support root-cause investigations and supplier corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain.
