Job summary

The Global Edge Consultants LLC is seeking a Supplier Quality Representative WTP in Central Texas on a contract basis. The role focuses on quality surveillance of supplier-furnished materials and adherence to procurement documents.

You will verify witness points, manage documentation, and coordinate corrective actions with suppliers. The position requires capability to travel to supplier facilities and strong communication in both written and verbal forms.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work under moderate supervision and independently in a supplier facility.
• Strong documentation and surveillance reporting capabilities.
• Experience with quality programs and supplier audits.
• Familiarity with inspection, testing, and acceptance processes.
• Industrial or energy-industry exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review procurement document requirements with supplier reps and ensure understanding.
• Witness and verify inspection plans, tests, and traceability before production begins.
• Monitor supplier activities and verify conformance to PO requirements during production.
• Review supplier quality docs, test reports, heat records, and calibration data.
• Identify and address nonconformances; coordinate with engineers for disposition.
• Release conforming material and report surveillance results to project teams.
