Fluor Corporation is seeking a seasoned Quality Manager to lead project quality activities on nuclear construction programs. You will oversee quality personnel, implement quality systems, and drive adherence to client, regulatory, and internal requirements across multiple sites.

Ideal candidates bring ASME NQA-1 familiarity, strong communication and leadership abilities, and a track record of managing complex projects with cross-functional teams, including suppliers and subcontractors.

Qualificações

  • Accredited four-year degree or global equivalent plus 12 years of related experience, or 16 years if non-degreed.
  • ASME NQA-1 Auditor Certification preferred.
  • Ability to communicate with diverse stakeholders including management, clients and vendors.
  • Experience with nuclear construction and quality oversight is required or preferred.

Responsabilidades

  • Act as Project Quality Manager on medium to large projects as needed.
  • Serve as office Quality Manager when required.
  • Facilitate OSR implementation across offices under responsibility.
  • Maintain relationships with clients and the external Quality community.

With authoritative decision-making this role's recommendations have a significant impact on regional and offices quality policies and programs. This role may supervise the work of assigned quality personnel.- Implement and supervise technical quality (i.e., adherence to client, regulatory agency, and company requirements), perform administrative functions (i.e., budgeting, forecasting, staffing, etc.), and help to maintain harmonious client relations- Communicate effectively with all labor grades, and contribute ideas that stimulate positive direction of business line personnel- Serve as project Quality Manager on medium to large projects, if necessary- Serve as the office Quality Manager, if necessary- Facilitate the implementation of the Operating System Requirements (OSR) in offices for which responsibility is allocated- Maintain relationships with key internal and external Clients and external Quality community- Other duties as assigned## Basic Job Requirements- Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and twelve (12) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to sixteen (16) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements- Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders- Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job- Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines- Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner## Other Job Requirements- Proof of US Citizenship Required- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance if required- Nuclear Construction experience under an ASME NQA-1 Quality program required- Hands on Experience with Supplier Quality as related to oversight of Glove Box fabricators## Preferred Qualifications**Qualifications:*** ASME NQA-1 Auditor Certification or certification by outside agency (e.g., Registrar Accreditation Board (RAB), American Society for Quality (ASQ), International Quality Associates (IQA), etc.) preferred -- Seven (7) years of related project experience, preferably under a Department of Energy (National Nuclear Security Administration) site/program- Moderate interpersonal and communication skills- Moderate leadership and decision-making skillsWe are an equal opportunity employer.
