Boeing Mexico Service Company is seeking a Supplier Quality Specialist, reporting to the Regional Supplier Quality Manager, to join our team in Mexico. The candidate will work with suppliers and Boeing stakeholders conducting site visits, product and systems verifications, audits, and supporting the implementation and verification of Corrective Action and Quality Improvement plans.

The Boeing Defense, Space & Security Supplier Quality organization oversees suppliers’ QMS, evaluates product quality improvement plans, and drives cross-functional efforts. Our responsibility is based on the Boeing Production system, our QMS, and our contracts with suppliers to ensure all products meet type designs.

Position Responsibilities:
  1. Plan and conduct audits and assessments of suppliers' systems, processes, and products.
  2. Document and report audit and assessment results.
  3. Inspect or verify products for compliance with requirements.
  4. Assist with assessments of supplier capability and capacity for current or future work.
  5. Provide supplier education and coaching on quality systems, regulatory compliance, and company initiatives.
  6. Resolve routine issues and concerns.

This position has been identified as a virtual opportunity and will not require the selected candidate to relocate.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  1. Must be legally able to work in Mexico.
  2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  3. 4+ years’ experience conducting/leading Quality Management Systems (QMS) audits.
  4. 3+ years’ experience conducting quality investigations, root cause analysis, and implementing/verifying corrective actions in production environments.
  5. Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):
  1. Knowledge of ISO9001, AS9100, & AS9102 standards.
  2. Experience inspecting wire harnesses, mechanical, and electromechanical assemblies.
  3. Proficiency in MS Office and project management software.
  4. Experience applying improvement methodologies like Lean, Theory of Constraints, or Six Sigma.
  5. Knowledge of quality tools such as FMEA, control plans, SPC, and MSA.
  6. Experience with various technologies including machining, fabrication, electronics assembly, etc.
  7. Experience reviewing contracts, engineering specifications, and drawings.
Education and Experience:

Typically requires an advanced degree (e.g., Bachelor) and 6+ years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination such as a Master’s plus 4 years of experience, etc.

Additional Information:

Relocation assistance is not provided; candidates must reside in or relocate at their own expense.

This is a locally hired position in Mexico. Benefits and pay are determined locally.
