Job summary

GOTAFE in New York is seeking an intern to collect and analyze supplier quality data, evaluate performance trends, and assist root cause analyses. You will update supplier master data and support corrective actions while preparing reports and recommendations.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a degree in Chemistry, Quality Mgmt, or related fields, with strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel/PowerPoint. Availability is 40 hours/week for 10–12 weeks, May–August.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in a relevant field.
• Demonstrated interest in quality, manufacturing, and supply chain operations.
• Strong documentation and process-description skills.
• Proactive in identifying efficiencies in supplier quality and service.

Responsibilities

• Collect, organize, and analyze supplier quality data from multiple sources.
• Evaluate supplier performance trends related to quality, delivery, and responses.
• Assist in root cause analysis of supplier performance.
• Review and update supplier master data and add a Quality Contact per supplier.
• Support corrective action tracking and follow-up activities.
• Prepare reports and presentations outlining findings and recommendations.
• Support OOS inflow reduction processes.
