Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial, or related engineering field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of production or manufacturing technical experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Manufacturing practices knowledge: CNC machining, molding, plating, and assembly operations.
• GD&T knowledge and practice required.
• Lean Six Sigma experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Minitab, and AS400 MRP System.
• Travel requirement: up to 50%, may include international locations; most travel scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Supplier Quality Metrics: Scrap, NCMRs, SCARs, and Scorecard Management.
• Manage critical-to-business suppliers' quality performance metrics.
• QIP (Quality Improvement Plans), ZDM (Zero Defect Mission), and QBRs (Quarterly Business Reviews).
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with technical supplier counterparts.
• Coordinate and oversee supplier quality recovery plans related to nonconforming material escapes.
• Provide technical internal problem-solving support for issues determined to originate from external processing.
• Organize supplier on-site audits and assessments (ISO 9001 & AS9100).
