Job summary

Robert Bosch Group is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to lead the claims process for Electronic Rack components and act as the main technical liaison between external suppliers and internal manufacturing teams. The role emphasizes strong communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure defect-free materials reach production.

Responsibilities include leading escalation and containment activities, driving supplier performance, and supporting audits under IATF

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering with 3+ years in quality or supplier quality; or 8+ years with high school diploma/GED.
Experience in automotive or electronics supply chains is preferred.
Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, FMEA and control plans is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Own supplier complaint and chargeback processes, driving accountability for quality failures.
Lead root cause investigations using 8D, 5-Why and Fishbone methods.
Collaborate with Engineering and Customer Quality for failure analyses on supplier defects.
Coordinate containment, sorting and rework activities when defects are found.
Review PPAP documentation and ensure proper component releases before production.
