Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer for the Vascular division in New Brighton, MN. This fully onsite role focuses on supporting third party manufacturers, performing GMP inspections, and ensuring supplier quality and regulatory compliance across the supply chain.

The position requires analytical problem-solving, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and the ability to manage corrective actions and monitor supplier performance.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years related work experience with a good understanding of the specified functional area.
• Working technical knowledge and application of concepts, practices and procedures.
• General understanding of business unit/group function.

Responsibilities

• Support Third Party Manufacturing and perform GMP inspections.
• Support commercial launch at Third Party Manufacturer.
• Collaborate with Design/Development, Manufacturing, Purchasing and IQA on supplier qualification and monitoring.
• Apply ISO/QSR knowledge to achieve regulatory compliance in business operations.
• Investigate field failures related to supplier materials and develop corrective action plans.
