Abbott is seeking an Intermediate Supplier Quality Engineer to join our quality organization in St. Paul, MN. You will develop and maintain supplier quality methodologies and support supplier performance and qualification activities to ensure Abbott standards and regulatory requirements are met.

• Supplier Change Notification (SCN) – manage change impact assessment, internal/external communication, and change implementation
• Material Non-conformance Investigations – manage root cause investigation, risk assessment, and correction activities
• Supplier Corrective Action Reports (SCAR) – manage investigation, corrective action, and verification of effectiveness (VOE).
• Supplier Development – manage supplier qualification, new material qualification, and receiving inspection procedure development for new product integration
• Supplier Performance Monitoring – support supplier performance monitoring by creating performance scorecards
• Supplier Maintenance – manage continuous improvement and supplier history file accuracy

Job Summary:

Supplier Quality Engineer responsible for supplier development, monitoring, improvement, and maintenance. Contributes to the development, establishment and maintenance of supplier quality engineering methodologies, systems and practices which meet Abbott and regulatory requirements.
