Job summary

Anchor Talent is seeking a Quality Engineer for a global manufacturing company. You will own a defined portfolio of suppliers and bring data-driven decision-making to how supplier performance is tracked and acted on.

The role requires traveling to supplier sites in Canada and Mexico to audit and inspect parts against engineering drawings and specifications. Ideal candidates have an engineering degree (preferred), strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills, and the ability to work

Qualifications

Engineering degree preferred.
Experience with supplier quality and audits.
Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Able to work independently and cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

Own an established portfolio of fabrication suppliers and monitor performance.
Lead First Article Inspection (FAI) planning and determine scope (full/partial).
Travel periodically to supplier sites for audits and inspections (Canada, Mexico).
Validate incoming parts and initial production runs against drawings and specs.
Drive corrective action with suppliers on non-conformances and track effectiveness.
Act as the connective link between suppliers, engineering, and manufacturing.
Build supplier performance data to inform sourcing decisions over time.
