Job summary
1st St NW Technical Staffing is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer in Minnesota to lead supplier QA in a high-mix, low-volume machining environment. You will analyze quality data, perform supplier audits, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to raise product quality and supplier performance.

- Develop and maintain supplier quality assurance processes in a high-mix, low-volume machining environment.
- Analyze quality performance data, conduct supplier audits, and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and supplier performance.
- Ensure externally sourced parts meet company quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Certify compliance with industry standards and regulations while supporting high-quality product delivery.
- Communicate daily with suppliers (verbal and email) to coordinate quality activities.
- Review mechanical blueprints to ensure manufacturability and conformance.
- Support quality department with measurements/inspections and quality plans as needed.
- Leverage Power BI/Power Automate to modernize workflows, improve data visibility and streamline supply chain management.
