Qualifications

• Interpret 2D drawings.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001.
• 8D problem solving knowledge.
• Detail oriented with analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with customers.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fluid environment.
• Knowledge of FMEA, SPC, CpK, GRR, Lean, and DOE.
• Ability to sit/stand for at least 90 consecutive minutes.

Responsibilities

• Identify root cause of quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure site compliance to Samtec QMS and ISO 9001.
• Ensure ITAR compliance.
• Engage with suppliers and generate detailed 8D reports with RCA and CAPA.
• Conduct onsite supplier audits (domestic and international travel).
• Work with manufacturing quality, process engineering, product engineering, and operations to define actions.
• Study techniques to improve product and process control with suppliers.
• Own quality objectives and ensure they are met.
• Support internal audits for procedures and work instructions.
• Manage assigned projects and ensure timely completion.
