Job summary

Ralliant seeks a Supplier Quality Engineer to lead supplier compliance, analyze root causes, and drive corrective actions using RCCA tools. You will influence internal and external owners to resolve supplier issues and prevent recurrence, while coordinating with Design, Manufacturing, NPD, Strategic Sourcing, Quality Inspection and Purchasing.

You will perform supplier evaluations, risk assessments, process audits, PPAPs, and monitor supplier scorecards, contributing to IP&R reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5–10 years in a QMS-controlled production environment (AS9100/ISO9001/ISO13485).
• ASQ and Lead Auditor certifications are a plus.
• Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Knowledge of PFMEAs, control plans and SPC.
• Experience with 8D, Ishikawa, 5-Why problem solving.
• Training experience for Operators and QE/CQE/SQE.
• Experience with ordnance or energetic materials is a plus.
• Non-degreed candidates may be considered with related experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead new and current supplier evaluations and compliance assessments.
• Generate program quality metrics (PPM, NCRs, SCARs).
• Perform corrective action using 8D, 5-Why, Fishbone and Six Sigma.
• Identify data needed to support business decisions.
• Prepare quality reports from data analysis and recommendations.
• Participate in Failure Review Board activities.
• Support Supplier Development Engineering on discrepancies.
• Attend daily management and training sessions.
• Contribute to non-conforming investigations with supplier SME input.
• Collaborate on Inspection Plans and Reports.
