Job summary

EQVAL Group, Inc. seeks a Supplier Quality Engineer to support CAPA, quality tools and supplier selection programs in a Medical Devices/Pharma environment in Puerto Rico. The role focuses on CAPA, supplier development, NCR/SCAR investigations and incoming inspection processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering field.
• Experience reviewing and approving qualification plans and reports to ensure components, materials and supplier meet specified requirements.
• Experience with corrective action process and elimination of problem root cause through long-term preventive action.
• Experience reviewing material quality issues, implementing and supporting corrective/preventive actions with suppliers (SCRs).
• Experience with supplier development programs, improving receiving inspection process and preventive components rejection.
• Knowledge resolving material quality issues, specifications, and inspection procedures questions at the incoming inspection area.
• Experience evaluating, selecting, validating and qualifying equipment / tools/ technologies for accurate inspection, including fulfilling financial requirements for capital equipment acquisitions.
• Experience performing, reviewing and approving endor related investigations for NCRs & SCARS to ensure effective problem resolution associated to raw material/components.
• Fully bilingual (English and Spanish) with exceptional communication skills, both spoken and written.

Supplier Quality Engineer will support activities in a Medical Devices or Pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. Focusing on CAPA, Quality Tools and Suppliers Selections programs. Understanding of SPC and GD&T.

Minimum Requirements:

*This position will be full-time 100% on site in Puerto Rico.
