Job summary

The Global Edge Group, LLC is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team onsite in Santa Clarita, CA for a motorsports client. The role focuses on QC of in-house components, process validation, and cross-functional problem solving.

Responsibilities include leading APQP activities, managing non-conformances in UniPoint, and driving continuous improvement through Six Sigma. The ideal candidate has 8–10+ years engineering experience and GD&T proficiency.

Qualifications

• BS in Manufacturing Engineering or Materials Science Engineering.
• 8–10+ years in engineering/manufacturing environment.
• Six Sigma principles.
• Test equipment proficiency.
• Vendor management and raw material familiarity.
• Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
• MS Office, Minitab, UniPoint.

• Advanced Product Quality Planning: First article inspections, process validation, work instructions, correlation studies.
• Data Analysis & Continuous Improvement: Create reports, plan Six Sigma activities, manage calibration, review drawings.
