Job summary

Motive Workforce seeks a Supplier Quality Engineer to work with suppliers and internal teams ensuring components meet demanding quality, performance, and manufacturing standards. You’ll lead corrective actions, NPI, and process validation to drive robust supplier performance.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in engineering/manufacturing, expertise in Six Sigma, GD&T, and statistical analysis, and strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering or Materials Science Engineering.
• 5+ years of engineering/manufacturing experience.
• Strong knowledge of Supplier Quality, Six Sigma, GD&T, and statistical analysis.
• Experience with supplier management, corrective actions, APQP/FAI, and calibration.
• Proficiency with Minitab, UniPoint, and MS Office.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage supplier quality, corrective actions, and non-conformances.
• Lead NPI, APQP, First Article Inspection, and process validation activities.
• Perform root-cause analysis and drive supplier improvements.
• Evaluate supplier processes, tooling, raw materials, and inspection methods.
• Analyze quality data and lead Six Sigma / continuous improvement initiatives.
• Review engineering drawings and apply GD&T.
• Partner with suppliers, engineering, manufacturing, and purchasing to resolve quality issues.
