Job summary

Cytiva, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to manage supplier quality requirements, onboarding, and development. You will collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, Business Development, and Sourcing to ensure compliance and performance.

You will lead supplier qualifications, audits, CAPA, and continuous improvement initiatives, aiming to reduce defects and costs. Domestic and international suppliers may be involved, with up to 30% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or technical field with experience in manufacturing, engineering or quality assurance.
• Minimum 3 years of quality-related work experience including supplier quality management, preferably in life sciences, biotech or pharmaceutical industries.
• Auditor with experience performing onsite and remote/virtual audits.
• Knowledge of Quality Management System tools and continuous improvement methodologies; Six Sigma/Lean preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 30%.

• Lead supplier qualification, part/process qualification, supplier auditing, issue resolution, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensure supplier compliance to QMS and regulatory requirements through monitoring processes.
• Drive quality improvements with suppliers to minimize costs of quality and support changes, NPI and transfers.
• Develop and execute Corrective and Preventive Action plans with suppliers to resolve non-conformance issues.
• Travel up to 30%.

What you’ll do

• You’ll be collaborating with Engineering, Project Management, Business Development, and Sourcing teams on all activities required to effectively manage supplier quality requirements, supplier onboarding, and supplier development.
• Primary areas of focus will be supplier qualification, part/process qualification, supplier auditing, issue resolution and improving supplier quality performance through continuous improvement activities and quality plan implementation.
• Ensure supplier compliance to QMS and regulatory requirements through supplier monitoring process.
• Collaborate with Suppliers and internal Stakeholders to drive Quality improvements that minimize the Costs of Quality and support implementation of Supplier/Engineering changes, New Product Introductions and Transfers.
• Develop and execute Corrective and Preventive Action plans with suppliers to resolve non-conformance issues.
• The desire and ability to travel up to 30%

Who you are

• Earned a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or technical field with experience in manufacturing, engineering or quality assurance.
• A quality professional with a minimum of 3 years of quality related work experience, that includes direct experience in quality and supplier quality management, preferably in life sciences, biotech or pharmaceutical industries.
• Qualified Auditor with experience of performing both onsite and remote/virtual audits
• Demonstrated knowledge of Quality Management System tools, continuous improvement methodologies, and site level products/processes; six sigma or Lean experience preferred
• The desire and ability to travel up to 30%
