Moog is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to join our Space and Defense team in Blacksburg, VA. You will manage quality across Moog’s supplier relationships and conduct supplier audits on-site.

The role requires a mechanical/industrial manufacturing background, travel up to 25%, and experience improving supplier performance. Moog offers a comprehensive benefits package and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing or a two year technical degree with 5 years of quality/machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience using Microsoft Office
• Experience functioning in a team-based manufacturing environment
• Willingness to travel up to 25% annually sometimes with short notice (domestic travel and occasionally internationally).
• Preferred experience in identifying, evaluating and developing new suppliers.
• Preferred experience in resolving and improving quality, scheduling, and performance related issues.

Our team in Space & Defense is looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to join them. You will report to the Supplier Quality Manager and will have an onsite work schedule in Blacksburg, Virginia.

To be considered for Supplier Quality Engineer you will need:

• Minimizing internal risks related to incoming inspections

Salary Range Transparency:

Blacksburg, VA $60,000.00–$90,000.00 Annually
