Air Liquide Turbo is seeking a Supplier Quality Control Specialist in Santa Ana, CA. The role focuses on verifying conformity of purchased equipment with purchase orders, codes, and specifications, while managing risk to meet Air Liquide’s quality expectations and customer needs.

You will perform SQC activities, collaborate with third-party agencies, and support manufacturing, control, and certification issues across projects. Domestic travel will be extensive, and the position requires U.S.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
• 7 years minimum experience in critical Machining components / Aerospace.
• U.S. work authorization; not open to visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Fluent English; strong communication in technical environments.
• Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing proficiency and ability to read drawings.
• Basic RCA and FMEA tools knowledge.
• Gauge R&R and CMM measurement familiarity.
• Proficient in fabrication processes and NDE methods.
• Knowledge of US statutory and regulatory rules.
• Proficient with Google Workspace and related tools.
• Experience with SAP, SRM, and Non Conformities Management

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

The Supplier Quality Control Specialist is responsible for performing SQC activities, maintaining technical competencies, and supporting standard quality processes across the organization. The main mission of the Supplier Quality Control Specialist is to verify conformity of purchased equipment with purchase orders, rules, codes, and specifications, helping manage risk to ensure suppliers reliably provide goods or services that satisfy Air Liquide’s Quality expectations and customer needs.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for completing assigned SQC activities on projects.
• Performance of Inspection based on approved ITP including CTQ parameters
• Verifies the conformity of purchased components to avoid rejections at incoming inspection.
• Supports SQC activities by collaborating with third party agencies and peers in Air Liquide Turbo.
• Supports projects with manufacturing, control and certification issues.
• Participates in the improvement of processes, standards and capitalization
• Conducting RCA for major quality issues to arrive corrective and preventive action
• Coordinates with inspection resources (agencies, internal resources, etc.)
• Other tasks as assigned

Travel expectations:

Domestic travel 80-90% and International travel roughly 5%-10% of the time, or based on project needs, and may include short notice.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree, engineering preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience Experience in critical Machining components / Aerospace - 7 years minimum
• Candidates must have valid employment authorization in the U.S. and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future. This position is not open for non-immigrant visa sponsorship.
• Extensive knowledge in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing and reading the drawings

The annual base salary range for this position in California is $110,000 - $140,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Air Liquide considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
