Base is America’s next-generation power company building a vast network of distributed batteries. We’re seeking a Supplier Industrialization Engineer to scale supplier manufacturing for mass production and quality.

You will work with suppliers and internal teams to optimize processes and costs while ensuring timely integration of new products. You will evaluate processes, audit facilities, and drive manufacturability reviews as a representative of the supplier, helping Base grow with scalable,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in supplier industrialization, supplier quality, or manufacturing engineering.
• Experience with multiple manufacturing processes and cost evaluation.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives and meet deadlines.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with suppliers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Ramp supplier lines from prototyping to full production.
• Assess supplier fit for long-term partnerships with Base.
• Design and optimize manufacturing processes with suppliers.
• Support supplier qualification, audits, and quality standards.
• Map supplier processes to identify capacity bottlenecks.
• Evaluate should-cost strategies for supplier manufacturing.
