Job Description Summary

In this role, you will work with suppliers to ensure capacity, readiness, and raw materials are positioned to support delivery schedules. You will gain visibility over sub-tier supplier performance and constraints and help suppliers influence their sub-tiers to resolve issues affecting their deliveries. The goal is to achieve the best contractual conditions while also ensuring internal customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include:

• Define and control production processes including tooling and equipment. Validate design specifications and shop floor application of new products, tools, or equipment.
• Utilize technical knowledge and analytical thinking to execute policy/strategy.
• Apply best practices and understand how your area integrates with others; stay aware of market competition.
• Propose solutions outside set parameters for complex manufacturing processes, using technical experience and data sources.
• Understand Lean processes to resolve part and supplier constraints.
• Own commitments and improvement plans at PN level, leveraging order book review.
• Drive execution of NPI, design changes, or transition plans.
• Identify and execute action plans around PN/Supplier constraints.
• Manage data, understand enablers to drive supplier On Time Delivery, utilizing Supplier Expectations Performance Management (SEPM).

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or high school diploma/GED with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain/maintain a DoD Security Clearance.
