Key Responsibilities

  1. Work with Suppliers to ensure continuous improvement in quality, manufacturability, and cost. Clarity engineering drawing requirements and communicate effectively to supporting suppliers.
  2. Continuous involvement in the Supplier Selection Process to develop a supply base that provides competitive advantage in quality, value/cost, delivery, and technology.
  3. Perform the supplier technical audit process and evaluate supplier performance and capability; drive continuous improvement opportunities at the supplier.
  4. Work with end users and perform quality problem resolutions and incident management; drive root cause and correction actions.
  5. Lead or participate in quality improvement projects to achieve quality targets.

Knowledge and Skillset

  • Demonstrate knowledge of engineering drawings.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of component manufacturing (e.g., welding, machining, electrical, assembling).
  • Demonstrate knowledge of using quality tools (e.g., 8D, fishbone).
  • Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
  • Experience with SAP and Office.
  • Knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; aware of competition and differentiating factors in the market.
  • Responsible and rapid response.
  • Good interpersonal skills; able to explain difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus.
  • Good communication skills and ability to adapt to cultural differences while working with a global team.
  • Good team player.

U.S. Salary Range: $120,000.00 - $165,000.00

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
