Job summary

ProKatchers LLC seeks a Supplier Quality Engineer to assess and qualify potential suppliers, ensuring alignment with our stringent quality standards. You will participate in design and process reviews, assure capability through various analyses, and help document supplier requirements in the project book.

The role emphasizes maintaining CtQ/CtS criteria and overseeing supplier list changes to keep only qualified suppliers in the program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering/science or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Bachelor's in Quality/Safety/Process Engineering or Continuous Improvement.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates technical capability assessments of potential new suppliers and ensures they meet quality standards.
• Conducts and reviews DFMAT, SRPQP, MSA, PFMEA, Control Plan, SPC, PV&V, FAI, LRA, and SICR.
• Contributes to the Supplier Project Book documenting detailed supplier quality requirements.
• Communicates CtQ and CtS characteristics and special process parameters to suppliers and maintains them throughout production.
• Assists with changes to the Approved Supplier List to retain only qualified suppliers.

Education

Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Engineering Science, Supply Chain Management, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or equivalent

Job description

• Facilitates technical capability assessments of potential new suppliers, ensuring they meet the company's quality standards, and contributes to the supplier selection.
• Conducts and reviews DFMAT (Design for Manufacturing and Assembly Technique), SRPQP (Specification Review and Part Qualification Plan), MSA (Measurement System Analysis), PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), Control Plan, SPC (Statistical Process Control), PV&V (Process Validation and Verification), FAI (First Article Inspection), LRA (Line Readiness Assessment), and SICR (Supplier Initiated Change Request).
• Contributes to the content of the Supplier Project Book, documenting detailed quality requirements and expectations for suppliers.
• Focuses that Critical to Quality (CtQ) and Critical to Safety (CtS) characteristics and special process parameters are effectively communicated to suppliers and rigorously maintained throughout the production process.
• Assists with the process of making additions, changes, or deletions to the Approved Supplier List, ensuring that only qualified suppliers are retained.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's/ Master's Degree in Engineering Science, Supply Chain Management, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Bachelor's in areas such as Quality Engineering, Safety Engineering, Process Engineering, Continuous Improvement Techniques or equivalent.
