Job summary

Moog Inc. in Torrance, CA is seeking a Supplier Development Engineer to drive supplier maturity, readiness, and risk reduction for new product introductions. You will lead structured development plans and readiness assessments, ensuring supply-chain readiness and early issue prevention.

You will manage supplier capability, capacity, and risk assessments, track action owners and milestones, and support onboarding and readiness reviews. Expect 20%–35% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Manufacturing or Mechanical preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of engineering or supply chain manufacturing experience.
• Experience with supplier development, APQP, industrialization, or operations improvement.
• Ability to assess process maturity, capability evidence, and supplier risk.
• Strong project-management with clear action tracking and follow-up.

• Improve supplier capability, capacity, readiness, and execution.

• Track supplier development plans with owners, milestones, closures.
• Support supplier onboarding, segmentation, and readiness reviews.
