Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace in Savannah seeks a Supplier Cost Analyst II to lead cost/price analysis on supplier proposals and support procurement with negotiation strategies. You will ensure communication of cost risks and opportunities, and you will engage in cost/price discussions with suppliers.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related field, 4 years of financial responsibility, and strong Excel skills. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Advanced degree may offset one year of experience.
• 4 years of increasing financial responsibility, to include third party negotiations and interface with Procurement.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates supplier proposals and develops cost/price positions for negotiations.
• Negotiates with suppliers on terms and financial implications.
• Evaluates supplier financial stability using financial statements and related analyses.
• Keeps knowledge of government cost/price indices and forecasts for parts and services.
• Promotes continuous process improvement in financial/procurement processes.
• Identifies cost reduction opportunities and communicates lot cost risks to Finance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
