Qualifications

• Advanced degree may offset one year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate supplier proposals and analyze cost/price implications for negotiations.
• Develop cost/price positions and communicate to Purchasing and management.
• Negotiate with suppliers on cost/price and contract terms with financial impact.
• Evaluate supplier financial stability and recommend follow-up actions.
• Maintain knowledge of government cost/price indices and develop price-adjustment formulas.
• Promote continuous process improvement in financial/procurement processes.
• Identify cost reduction opportunities and communicate risks to Material Finance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
