Overview:

We seek a Contracts/Supplier Business Analyst focusing on Ariba vendor registrations and customer service for vendors internally and externally. This role resides in the Contracts Compliance group within the Contracts Division of the Business Services Directorate at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL).

Major Duties/Responsibilities:

1. Register vendors in the Ariba system, ensuring compliance with government policies.
2. Coordinate SAP Ariba procurement module configuration and establish business rules aligned with ORNL practices.
3. Possess in-depth knowledge of SAP, Ariba, their integration, and related financial systems. Familiarity with SAM.gov or similar databases is required.
4. Engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders to optimize supplier management and training.
5. Lead training programs for procurement staff on vendor management topics.
6. Manage the Vendor Administration team, oversee supplier lifecycle performance, and facilitate supplier integration and reporting.
7. Maintain and develop ORNL Contracts Division websites.
8. Document and update contract requirements based on internal procedures.
9. Participate in meetings to facilitate priorities and improvements.
10. Collaborate with suppliers and Ariba administrators to troubleshoot and connect.
11. Align behaviors and interactions with ORNL’s core values: Impact, Integrity, Teamwork, Safety, and Service. Foster a respectful, inclusive workplace.

Basic Qualifications:

• BS/BA Degree and 5 years relevant experience.
• Customer service orientation with effective communication skills across diverse groups.
• Excellent organizational, computer, and time management skills; proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Acrobat.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Ariba, SAP, FAR.
• General troubleshooting skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Self-motivated, independent worker, capable of collaborative teamwork.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced research environment and manage multiple priorities.
