Piedmont Technical College in South Carolina is looking for a Supplemental Nursing Instructor to enhance student success in nursing programs. This temporary, part-time role involves intervening in classes with low success rates and providing targeted assistance to students struggling with course material.
Key responsibilities include facilitating one-on-one meetings and supporting students in developing critical thinking skills essential for nursing. A Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing is required.
The Supplemental Nursing Instructor will be embedded into courses with historically low success rates that are central to the completion of the nursing programs offered by the college. The Instructor will have the opportunity to intervene when students require additional assistance. The instructor will be a part of the classroom dynamics and will set up meeting times one on one or with small groups to assist in clarifying challenging topics and assisting students with learning how to critically think as a nurse.
Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing.
Experience with nursing instruction/education preferred.
This is a temporary, part-time position.
