Job summary

Supper Server Assistant - $10.00+tips

Assist managers, servers, and cooks in providing quality food and beverage service to guests, according to hotel specifications, courteously and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness of tables, service areas and equipment. Expedite food/tickets in a timely and organized manner. Stock all wares and equipment needed for service. Must have a flexible schedule and current CA Food Handler Certifications.

• Maintain complete knowledge of designated glassware and garnishes for drinks
• Maintain complete knowledge of all menu items, preparation method, ingredients, sauces, preparation time, garnishes, presentation and prices
• Maintain good coordination and timing while serving orders quickly
• Ability to exert physical effort in transporting food and beverage guests
• Aptitude to endure abundant physical movements throughout the work areas
• Be familiar with all Hotel services, features and local attraction, activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately
• Maintain complete knowledge and strictly abide by liquor regulations as per TABC guidelines and provincial liquor codes

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Some previous experience in a luxury or ultra-luxury environment
