Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• State mandated competency exam required.

Responsibilities

• Communicates, collaborates, and cooperates with colleagues, supervisors, and students.
• Assists teacher in routine classroom operation.
• Demonstrates understanding of student's disability and maintains fair discipline.
• Loads/unloads wheelchair-bound students on bus and waits with students for transportation.
• Supervises students and manages small groups when teacher is unavailable.
• Performs duties with awareness of district requirements and policies.
