Job summary

US Air Mobility Command at Fairchild AFB, WA, seeks a Regular Full Time administrator to oversee the Arts and Crafts Program, including Auto Skills, Woodcraft, Multi-Crafts, Frame Shop and Engraving Shop. The role requires supervisory experience and knowledge of budgeting processes within a government context.

Two years of progressively responsible administrative or related experience are required. A Recreation degree is desirable.

About the position: This position will be assigned to the 92 Force Support Squadron, Arts and Crafts Center, Fairchild AFB, WA. Responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the Arts and Crafts Program. Programs include the following: Auto Skills Program, Woodcraft Program, Multi-Crafts Program, Frame Shop and the Engraving Shop.

This is a Regular Full time position; guaranteed 35-40 hours per week; depending on the needs of the facility.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Qualifying Experience: Must have at least two (2) years of progressively responsible administrative, professional, technical or other work which has provided a general knowledge of management principles and practices or progressively responsible experience in one or more areas of the functions in the Arts and Crafts Program. Degree in Recreation or a comparable field is desirable. Knowledge and experience of budget cycles and non-appropriated/appropriated fund budget requirements. Supervisory experience is required. Must be able to work in an environment with occasional exposure to high noise levels, dust, grease and dirt.
