You will serve as a Supervisory Recreation Fee Specialist with National Park Service. Supervises Recreation Fee Program staff; manages fee revenues and donations per federal rules. Serves as a GS-09 NPS representative ensuring proper fund handling.
Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: Supervise a team of at least four employees, volunteers, and/or noncontractor personnel tasked with performing Recreation Fee Program related duties Coordinate the day-to-day business operations of a park level fee organization, to include the collection, deposit, tracking, and expenditure of fees and donations. Provide authoritative instruction and training to lower-level employees, volunteers, interns, and other partners regarding the implementation of fee program policies, standards, methods, controls, and procedures. Coordinate, schedule, and conduct routine, non-routine, and new audits of an organization's fee program. Ensure the maintenance and operation of point-of-sale systems, computer applications, and peripheral fee collection devices such as hand-held devices, tablets, smart phones, scanning devices, and automated fee machines used by the organization's fee program.
