PLEASE NOTE: This announcement is for the position of Strategy Division Director For the Office of Policy and Program Analysis, Strategy Division. The ideal candidate is a seasoned senior leader who advises executives on complex federal and emergency management programs, leads strategic planning and evaluations, and turns analysis into actionable recommendations that improve mission performance and resource use.

The qualification requirements listed below must be met by the closing date of the announcement.

To qualify for this position at the GS-15 level (starting salary $169,279), you must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 level in the Federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. Experience may be obtained in the federal government, a state or local government, or private sector, and must demonstrate the following:

1. Developing long-range strategic planning documents; AND

2. Designing, implementing, and tracking organizational performance metrics; AND

3. Communicating findings clearly and effectively to diverse audiences, including senior executives and high-ranking officials.
