SUPERVISORY OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Summary: The primary purpose of this position is: to serve as a supervisor, responsible for planning, directing, organizing, overseeing, and exercising control over non-supervisory and supervisory employees assigned to high visibility Force Support Squadron (FSS) programs.

Key Responsibilities

Provides support to management in planning, organizing, directing, and overseeing the Operations activities of the 71st Force Support Squadron (FSS), for the Honor Guard, Unit Training, Readiness and Plans Services, Marketing, and Community Programs and Unit Cohesion. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Represents the 71st Force Support Squadron (FSS) with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.

Establishes, defines, and implements requirements for operations programs to ensure services and functions are in line with organizational goals and mission requirements. Provides management and technical direction of the Sustainment Services, to include the daily operations of the Fitness Center, Base Library, Postal Center, and Base Pool, servicing over 4000 Active Duty/Reserve military, federal civilians/contractors/private business, U.S.

Air Force/Navy/Marine Corps/Allied student pilots, military family members, and military retirees. Manages 71st Force Support Squadron (FSS) platforms.
