The Supervisory IT Specialist (PLCYPLN/ENTARCH) position at Air Education and Training Command in the United States oversees planning, directing, organizing, and controlling branch staff, ensuring alignment with legal and regulatory requirements and customer needs.
This role serves as Program Manager and Senior IT Specialist, plans and manages software systems, lifecycle IT projects, and logistics for fielded systems, with telework eligibility and a Secret clearance requirement.
The primary purpose of this position is: This position will serve as a first level supervisor, providing planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over nonsupervisory branch employees.
Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the branch, ensuring that the organization complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Represents the Center with a variety of installation and functional area organizations. Serves as a Program Manager (PM) and Senior IT Specialist.
Plans, schedules, and controls Air Force computer software systems, systems development, and related projects supporting Air Force operations. Serves as the focal point for planning, management, and coordination of the IT lifecycle of assigned IT projects.
Responsible for planning, managing, and coordinating the lifecycle logistics support for assigned systems or subsystems, integrating separate functions of supply, maintenance, procurement, and quality assurance into logistics activities required to sustain system fielding.
This position is with Air Education and Training Command, Department of the Air Force.
The posted pay range is $106437 - $138370/yr.
This position is eligible for telework.
This position requires a Secret security clearance.
