Headquarters, Air Force Reserve Command, based at Robins Air Force Base in Georgia, seeks a senior information technology (IT) specialist to serve as a consultant to management in support of installation IT policy and plans.
The role plans and coordinates all IT asset acquisition/ implementation, acts as a senior technical advisor on contract and budget activities, and represents the organization at conferences while guiding IT projects to resolution.
The primary purpose of this position is to serve as senior information technology (IT) specialist and consultant to management in support of installation IT policy and plans.
Critical Performs studies and establishes plans of action for improving the efficiency of information technology applications. Performs studies covering the installation's information technology status. Assesses policy needs and develops policy and procedures governing IT activities. Plans, develops, approves procedures and interprets policy related to IT activities. Critical Functions as a senior technical advisor on contract and budget activities.
Plans and coordinates all phases of the acquisition, implementation, and integration of IT assets. Represents the organization at conferences and meetings and presents briefings. Leads and/or participates in discussions, meetings, conferences, committees or special IT projects. Analyzes areas of concern, identifies problems, and resolves conflicts through persuasive discussions with management and user representatives.
This position is with Headquarters, Air Force Reserve Command, Department of the Air Force.
The posted pay range is $89508 – $116362/yr.
