U.S. Department of Defense is seeking a Supervisory IT Specialist (PLCYPLN) at GS-2210-14 to develop and guide IT program plans and architectures supporting the organization’s academic mission.

The incumbent will ensure compliance with policies, standards, and infrastructures, and oversee the management framework for all related IT programs. Responsibilities include coordinating policy planning, directing IT initiatives, and ensuring readiness for potential telework as appropriate.

This position is part of the Department of War, War Media Activity (WMA). The incumbent will be responsible for developing, implementing, and ensuring compliance with plans, polices, standards, infrastructures, and architectures that establish the framework for the management of all IT programs necessary to support the organization academic mission.

Duties

This position is being filled under the memorandum from the Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness (USD(P&R)) "Expansion of Direct Hire Authority for Certain Personnel of the Department of Defense" .
As a Supervisory IT Specialist (PLCYPLN) at the GS-2210-14 some of your typical work assignments may include:

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Occasional Travel
