Supervisory Intelligence Specialist (Operations)

Security Clearance: Sensitive Compartmented Information

About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located in Honduras.

Key Responsibilities

Guide, direct, and conduct intelligence analysis and production concerning transnational criminal organizations (TCOs) and the threat they pose to the U.S. and the Host Nation.

Candidates initially selected from the U.S. may be eligible for certain foreign area benefits. Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs is authorized, subject to the provisions of the Joint Travel Regulations. When you perform a Civilian PCS with the government, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) considers the majority of your entitlements to be taxable.
