WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's or graduate/higher level degree: major study in an academic field related to the medical field, health sciences or allied sciences appropriate to the work of the position. This degree must be from an educational program from an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (external link) at the time the degree was obtained. AND Minimum Qualifications: You must have one year of specialized experience to perform successfully the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service performing ALL of the following: Collaborating with state and local health departments, ensuring that cooperative agreements are guided by CDC recommendations and programmatic guidance. Leading health-department based programs and translating scientific findings into public health practice, policy, and programmatic effort. Mentoring and supervising programmatic Staff. Utilizing program evaluation and quality improvement methods, including data collection, management and analysis of both quantitative and qualitative outcomes.
