Summary: This position is eligible for EDRP, a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of your start date. Approval, award amount (up to $200,000), and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review. Duties: The supervisor is responsible for the performance of individuals within the CT/X-ray Diagnostic Imaging Service, including interviewing, evaluating candidates, recommending promotions, resolving complaints, providing direction, monitoring activities, advising on performance, managing human resources, setting objectives, dealing with union matters, directing training programs, conducting staff meetings, developing policies, recommending equipment purchases, participating in quality activities, overseeing equipment safety and maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring imaging quality and safety protocols.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.

Requirements: U.S. citizenship, English proficiency, completion of accredited radiologic technology training, ARRT certification, and compliance with physical and security requirements. Participation in vaccination programs is mandatory.
Qualifications: Must meet all requirements within 30 days of the closing date. Education from accredited institutions and ARRT certification are mandatory. Advanced certification is required for CT duties. Experience as a supervisor and in specific imaging procedures is preferred.
Grade Determination: GS-10 level requires one year of experience at the GS-9 level, demonstrating supervisory and technical competencies, including data analysis, policy development, and problem-solving skills.
Physical Requirements: Moderate lifting, carrying, pushing, reaching, use of fingers, walking, standing, bending, visual and hearing acuity, with environmental factors including radiation exposure and working with others or alone.
Education: Must be from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. Foreign education requires proper certification.
Required Documents: ARRT certification, resume, SF-50, transcripts, and other relevant certifications or documentation as applicable.
