Supervisory Commissary Management Specialist (Private Brand Program Manager) serves as the program manager overseeing DeCA's private brand program and is responsible for the selection, implementation, and management of private brand grocery products within DeCA's category management structure including product assortment, pricing, and promotion.
You must meet qualifications and requirements by the announcement closing date. Your resume must clearly show that you meet the qualifications (i.e., specialized experience requirements) for the below grade level. At the GS-14 grade level, you can meet minimum qualifications only through having the required specialized experience. Specialized experience is demonstrated knowledge of retail procurement and distribution methods; principles, procedures, and techniques of retail food merchandising and retail food store management, and developments in commercial retail food store items, equipment, and practices.
You will receive credit for all relevant qualifying experience (paid and unpaid), including volunteer work done through National Service program (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).
One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level.
