About the Position:
The Hydrology and Geographic Information System (GIS) Section is responsible for all hydrologic studies and GIS Analyses performed in support of activities related to water resources projects undertaken by the Los Angeles District.

Basic Requirement for Civil Engineer:
In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below:
Specialized Experience: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service which includes: Conducting hydrologic and statistical analyses in support of water resource or flood control investigations (such as investigations of surface water runoff, groundwater and contaminant transport, debris and sediment yield, post wildfire impacts, and flood frequency analyses; developing scope and budget estimates for flood risk management and environmental studies.
